On Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, I officially became a United States citizen at the oath ceremony.

It has to do with applying the lessons I learned in overcoming physical paralysis to dealing with the real life challenge of becoming a U.S. citizen.
My suggestion … if you are procrastinating and putting something off, take that first step. Start today.
